On November 7, 2011, the US Department of the Interior announced its Record of Decision, giving Christo the necessary federal permit to realize Over The River, Project for the Arkansas River, State of Colorado. Assuming the remaining necessary permits are successfully secured, Over The River installation will begin in early 2013 with a two week exhibition planned for early August, 2015.
